  • JESSICA MITCHELL

    Jessica is one of the founding members of Peak and has been an integral part of the organization since its beginning. She has been involved in martial arts and coaching youth summer camp programs since 2008, dedicating her career to helping children grow in confidence, character, and ability. Her passion for youth development has shaped the foundation of Peak's mission and programming.

    Over the years, Jessica has devoted significant time to studying child development, with a focus on students' physical, intellectual, emotional, and social growth. She also has extensive experience in classroom management, staff development, and creating engaging programs that help children thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

    As a member of Peak's leadership team, Jessica is committed to ensuring that every program reflects the organization's core values of safety, excellence, and community. She believes every child deserves the opportunity to build confidence, integrity, resilience, and lifelong skills through positive experiences and meaningful mentorship.

  • TORY MITCHELL

    Tory Mitchell is a proud husband, father, and dedicated martial arts instructor who serves as a Master Instructor in the art of Soo Bahk Do, Moo Duk Kwan. With a lifelong commitment to martial arts, Tory has devoted himself to teaching not only technical excellence but also the values that define true martial artists—discipline, loyalty, integrity, and respect.

    As one of Peak's lead instructors and mentors, Tory is passionate about helping students develop confidence, resilience, and strong character. He believes martial arts is about much more than physical training; it is a powerful tool for building leadership skills, perseverance, self-control, and respect that students carry with them into every aspect of their lives.

    He strives to foster a welcoming community where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to become the best versions of themselves. Through his leadership, experience, and dedication, Tory continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of the students and families he serves.

  • KARIA WHITE

    As Operations Director at Peak, Karia serves as the organization's senior operational leader, overseeing all day-to-day operations and leading the team in carrying out Peak's mission. Reporting directly to the owners, she is responsible for managing all departments and staff, ensuring operational excellence across the organization. Her leadership includes oversight of state licensing and regulatory compliance, human resources, hiring and onboarding, administrative operations, staff development, and program implementation, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and care.

    Before joining Peak, Karia taught at both the high school and college levels, where she helped students build confidence, discover their strengths, and achieve their goals. Her background in education, combined with her passion for child development, has shaped her collaborative leadership style and commitment to creating environments where both children and staff can thrive.

    Karia works closely with the owners, families, educators, and community partners to ensure every aspect of Peak operates efficiently and with purpose. She is passionate about developing strong teams, fostering a positive workplace culture, and creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels supported, included, and inspired to learn, grow, and succeed.

  • DESTANNIE SAMBEL

    Destannie is one of the directors at Peak and brings nearly eight years of experience working with children in childcare. She is passionate about creating positive experiences for students and believes every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and encouraged as they learn and grow. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and caring nature make her a valued member of the Peak leadership team.

    As one of the newer directors at Peak, Destannie is excited to build meaningful relationships with students and families through the after-school and summer programs. She is committed to fostering a welcoming environment where children feel confident to explore new interests, develop friendships, and create lasting memories.

    In her role, Destannie works to ensure that every program provides a balance of fun, structure, and enrichment while maintaining a safe and inclusive atmosphere. She enjoys watching students grow in confidence, discover their unique strengths, and develop important life skills through engaging activities and positive mentorship.

  • SHANTEL GERACE

    Shantel is our Expert Sales Lead and one of the primary points of contact you’ll hear from through email communication. With a strong background in customer service and program support, Shental plays a key role in helping families get connected, stay informed, and find the right programs for their needs.

    Known for being organized, responsive, and approachable, Shental ensures that every inquiry is handled with care and attention to detail. Whether answering questions, providing program information, or guiding families through enrollment, she makes the process smooth and easy from start to finish.

    Shental is dedicated to creating a positive first experience for every family we serve, making sure communication is clear, timely, and helpful. Her commitment to excellent service helps set the tone for the welcoming, supportive environment our programs are known for.

  • TANNER IRVIN

    Tanner Irvin is a dedicated coach and martial arts instructor who brings energy, leadership, and care to every program he is a part of. As a certified Soo Bahk Do instructor and experienced coach, Tanner is passionate about helping students build confidence, discipline, and strong character both on and off the mat.

    In addition to teaching martial arts, Tanner is often a familiar and friendly presence at local schools, where he may assist with after-school programs and wait with students to ensure a smooth, safe transition into our care. Families appreciate his reliability, calm presence, and commitment to student safety and support.

    Tanner’s coaching style focuses on encouragement, structure, and personal growth. He works closely with students to help them develop not only physical skills, but also respect, focus, and perseverance that carry into all areas of life.

  • MONALI CRAIG

    Monali Craig brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and dedication to the Peak team. Originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, she holds a Master's degree in Business Management and has a strong passion for working with children and supporting their growth both academically and personally.

    Monali's journey in education began when she started volunteering at Eagleview Elementary while her daughter was in kindergarten. Through years of volunteering, she discovered how rewarding it was to mentor students, support teachers, and watch children gain confidence and develop throughout the school year. Her commitment to education led her to become a Paraprofessional Educator at Eagleview Elementary, where she has spent more than four years working closely with students and helping them succeed each day.

  • LUCY JACKSON

    Coach Lucy's journey with Peak began as a martial arts student, and over the past three years, Peak has become a place she proudly calls home. After discovering her passion for working with children through martial arts, she joined the Peak after-school team and has also played an active role in the summer camp program. Her enthusiasm, kindness, and positive energy make her a wonderful mentor for the students she serves.

    Lucy loves helping children build confidence, develop new skills, and celebrate their accomplishments. She believes in creating a supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to try new things, have fun, and reach their full potential.

  • ELLIOTT ISACCO

    Coach Elliott has been a valued member of the Peak team for over a year, working with students in the after-school program, summer camps, and martial arts classes. Her enthusiasm, positive attitude, and dedication to youth development make her an important part of creating an engaging and welcoming experience for every child.

    Elliott is passionate about working with children and believes that every student should have a place where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. Whether leading activities, assisting with martial arts instruction, or helping students navigate their day, she strives to create an environment where children can build confidence, develop new skills, and have fun.

  • DAJUAN MITCHELL

    DaJuan Mitchell is a dedicated coach and highly skilled martial arts instructor who brings leadership, discipline, and experience to our team. As a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Soo Bahk Do, DaJuan has spent years developing advanced technical ability along with a deep understanding of martial arts philosophy, training, and personal development.

    As a coach, DaJuan is committed to helping students build confidence, focus, and respect through structured and engaging instruction. His teaching style emphasizes discipline, consistency, and encouragement, ensuring that every student is supported as they progress at their own pace.

    In addition to martial arts, DaJuan has a strong passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and enjoys encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking in students. He brings this mindset into his coaching style by helping students learn how to think through challenges, stay patient, and approach new skills with creativity and logic.

  • DAKOTA ST. CLAIR

    Dakota is a new coach to our program and brings a strong background in working with children, along with a genuine passion for helping students grow in a positive and supportive environment. With several years of experience working with kids, Dakota knows how to build strong relationships, encourage participation, and create a space where every child feels included, motivated, and valued.

    Dakota speaks Korean fluently, adding a unique cultural strength and communication skill to the team that helps foster connection and understanding in diverse settings. In addition, Dakota holds a tumbling certification, bringing specialized knowledge in movement, coordination, and safe skill progression for students interested in physical development and gymnastics-based activities.

    As a coach, Dakota focuses on confidence, discipline, and teamwork while keeping activities fun, engaging, and structured. Their calm and encouraging approach allows them to meet students at their level and support them as they build new skills and challenge themselves.

  • CODY BRYANT

    CODY BRYANT

    Coach Cody Bryant is a valued member of the Peak team who joined as a summer coach and will continue working with students throughout the school year in our after-school program and school year camps. His positive attitude, dedication, and enthusiasm for working with children have made him a great addition to the Peak community.

    In addition to his role at Peak, Cody works within the local school district, giving him valuable experience supporting students in an educational setting. His background allows him to build strong connections with children while creating a safe, structured, and encouraging environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun.

  • WALLISSA ALLING

    Coach Wallissa is a dedicated and steady leader with the Peak Afterschool Program, known for creating a structured, respectful, and positive environment where students can thrive. She brings a firm but fair approach to coaching, setting clear expectations and holding students accountable while still showing care and support in their growth.

    Her leadership style emphasizes consistency, responsibility, and respect. Coach Wallissa believes that students do their best when they understand boundaries and routines, and she ensures those expectations are communicated clearly and upheld every day. At the same time, she recognizes that growth takes time, and she supports students as they work toward improving their behavior, teamwork, and skills.

  • KELLY CABAZOS

    Kelly brings more than 25 years of experience as a school bus driver and a passion for working with children. Many students know her as the friendly face behind the wheel each day, while others know her as one of Peak's dedicated coaches. Having joined the coaching team over six months ago, Kelly has quickly become a trusted mentor and positive role model for students.

    Kelly is also a proud mother of two and understands the importance of providing families with a safe, caring, and dependable environment for their children. Her warm personality, patience, and enthusiasm help students build confidence while making every day enjoyable.

  • BONITA HENDERSON

    Bonita is the driver for our Academy and Westgate routes at Peak Afterschool. She enjoys getting to know the students and seeing their personalities shine throughout the school year. By providing safe and dependable transportation, she helps students start and end their afterschool experience on a positive note.

    Bonita values building positive relationships with the children and families she sees each day. She works hard to create a friendly, respectful environment where students feel comfortable and welcomed. Her positive attitude and consistency make her a great part of the Peak Afterschool team.

Our staff is made up of experienced and qualified professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for your child. All of our coaches are trained in first aid and CPR, and undergo a thorough background check before joining our team.
